Thanks to everyone for visiting and enjoying our book fair! The PTA report a sum of over €1500 raised, and that means our school will receive 100s of euro for classroom and resource books! Well done to all involved, with a special thank you to our shopkeepers! 

Have a look in the school foyer, the winners of our 'design a favourite book scene' competition are on display, winners received a €10 book voucher, thanks to Scholastic. 

The Scholastic Book Fair is back! Monday 14th November is the day when we open up the cupboards and display a wonderful selection of books that will interest and entertain our pupils! Remember that Scholastic allow the school order a large collection of books for free, this is based on the amount of money spent at the fair!

There will be a selection of word games to play at the fair, and the children will be decorating the area with drawings of their favourite book scenes. 

Please come along to the launch on Monday morning at 08:10, there will be refreshments available for the parents! So drop in for a cuppa and a chat, we'd love to see you there!

Computer ClassesMarguerite O’Leary will be taking computer classes on Wednesdays from 2pm-3pm. She’s offering two courses. Scratch Beginners, teach children to program computers by creating games and animation. App Designer, is for anyone who has already done Scratch and takes programming to the next level. Registration & Payment can be made through the Aladdin Payment System on the schools website. Cost €60 for 7 weeks

Drama ClassesSara Walsh will be taking drama classes on Thursdays from 2pm – 3pm.Registration & Payment can be made through the Aladdin Payment System on the schools website. Cost €50 for 6 weeks
 
HockeyHockey will begin next week and will take place on Tuesdays in Loreto. Registration & Payment can be made through the Aladdin Payment System on the schools website. Cost €30 for 5 weeks
