5th and 6th class are publishing a professional cookbook as part of their Junior Entrepreneur Programme! Every family is being asked to include a recipe, starter, main, dessert or treat :) If your family has not included a recipe yet, make haste!! You can email it into the school, or fill in the form that your child should have in their bag!!
Forms for entry are due this Friday!! If you have lost yours, here's another...!
You should receive news that the school is becoming a nut-free zone, from Thursday 3rd March 2016. Children cannot come to school with nuts, popcorn, coconut, pine nuts, peanut butter, Nutella and similar spreads, nutty bars/biscuits, hand creams that are oil based, etc.
(Non nut foods which are labelled 'may contain traces of nuts' are ok.)
You can find a link for further information above, we hope all parents/guardians, childminders, staff and pupils remember that the welfare of our pupils is very important, and do everything possible to maintain a nut-free environment.
A big day for the school community! Hopefully you can join in the exciting day with our staff and pupils!
09:00 School Front Door
We begin the day with the national flag raising event for Proclamation Day. We hope everyone attending can wear the colours of our flag, and join in with the national anthem!
09:20ish Northover Hall
Our talented pupils will put on their annual 'wonderfest' that is the Variety Show! Anything goes in this show, jokes, tricks, songs, poems, whatever entertains the crowd! If your child is participating this year, please ensure you've signed their form and returned it to school so we can include them on the programme! (Forms will be sent home this week). A more formal time plan will be announced once we know who's participating, but the Junior Infants usually start the show, and it goes in ascending class order. Always a fun event!
